Kumihimo Yellow 'Sunshine' Silky Woven Handmade Memory Bracelet

This version of our Kumihimo Memory Friendship Bracelet is made of lovely shiny satin cord in yellow and oranges, encapsulating a sunny day, hence the 'Sunshine' Bracelet.
It has a central memory wire core, ensuring it will always maintain its shape and stay on your wrist, without need for a fiddly closure.

Kumihimo is Japanese for “gathered threads”, and is an ancient Japanese form of braid-making. In these bracelets we have woven 12 yellow and orange satin cords in a certain order to create a strong, decorative braided rope. We created a technique to wrap the cord around a central stainless steel memory wire. This ensures that the bracelet will always maintain its shape with no need for closures. The bracelet is adjustable from around 19cm to around 22cm with a thickness of around 7mm. The end caps are Silver Plated.
